Union protesters antagonize us at the Supreme Court rally for Janus v. AFSCME
On February 26, 2018, CRC attended dueling rallies held in front of the Supreme Court on the day of oral arguments for Mark Janus v. American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME). If the Supreme Court rules in favor of plaintiff Mark Janus it would overturn a previous court decision allowing public sector unions to collect mandatory “agency fees” from workers. One rally was being held in support of Mark Janus, the other by multiple unions in support of AFSCME. A decision in the case is expected in June.
