Come See Us at FreedomFest!

The Capital Research Center is proud to be a part of the annual FreedomFest conference again this year!

If you’re planning on attending, make sure you come say “hi!” CRC will be well represented throughout the conference with an exhibition booth, several film screenings, and multiple opportunities to hear from CRC’s leadership.

CRC President Scott Walter is moderating a panel with National Review’s John Fund, Americans for Tax Reform’s Grover Norquist, and Turning Point USA’s Candace Owens on Friday, July 19, at 2:10 pm entitled “UnCivil War: Can a Divided America Stand?

Mr. Walter will also be a panelist for the discussion “Political Polarization and the State of Libery,” with Whiskey Politics and America’s Voice Television Network’s Dave Sussman, Bloomberg’s Alan Crawford, and Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI).

Anthem Film Festival

CRC’s film division, Dangerous Documentaries will make a serious splash at the Anthem Film Festival at this year’s FreedomFest, July 17-20, 2019 at Paris Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. Three of our films will be featured at the gathering of liberty-minded filmmakers.

The first, Architects of Woke: Judith Butler’s War on Science, examines the influence of U.C. Berkeley Professor Judith Butler, whose gender theories are responsible for the notion that gender is a performance rather than biological, and an endlessly divisible spectrum that can have far more than two types.

A panel discussion after the film will feature Dangerous Documentaries’ Joseph (Jake) Klein and the film’s director Rob Montz.

Our second film to be featured at Anthem is No Safe Spaces starring Adam Carolla and Dennis Prager.

The film takes Prager and Carolla to college campuses across the country, interviewing students and professors, comedians and commentators, and those who have been impacted by the silencing of different voices on campus.

The film also features both left-wing and right-wing free speech advocates, including Jordan Peterson, Cornel West, Alan Dershowitz, and Robert George.

After the film, a panel discussion on free speech will feature Joseph (Jake) Klein and the film’s Producer Mark Joseph.

The last film to be featured at Anthem is the pilot to The Politically Incorrect Guide series featuring historian Tom Woods and author Michael Malice. The first episode explores the history of the U.S. Constitution and the academic theories attempting to undermine America’s founding document.

Stay tuned after for a panel discussion “The Animator’s Art: These Aren’t Just Cartoons Anymore”, featuring The Politically Incorrect Guide producer Patrick Reasonover and director Michael Ozias.

We hope to see you there!
