Voter Registration Project Report on ABC7

ABC national correspondent Kristine Frazao reports on a U.S. House Ways and Means Committee investigation into nonprofits that appear to be engaging partisan voter registration.

The committee’s investigation was sparked by CRC’s recent report How Charities Secretly Help Win Elections, which details how John Podesta, former campaign manager for Hillary Clinton, commissioned the voter registration project, which became the Everybody Votes campaign. Report author Parker Thayer observed, “The IRS is allowing essentially Democratic political activism to be labeled as nonprofit charitable work.”
