Suppressed Ad Highlights Al Gore’s Energy Hypocrisy

The Competitive Enterprise Institute put out a nicely done TV ad that shines some light on energy hog Al Gore’s hypocritical whining about energy use, and soon after the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association had the ad taken off YouTube because it contained seven seconds of footage from a documentary the group posted on YouTube. Is the association really concerned about copyright infringement, as it claims?

As CEI notes

“The ad, which aired in a dozen cities in the last two weeks, comes just before Al Gore’s Alliance for Climate Protection launches a $100 million ad campaign for his global warming proposals. Electric co-ops receive massive government subsidies, and the association’s move appears motivated by global warming politics.”

The ad, “A Bright Future for Some,” may be viewed here.
