Shady Dealings in Voter Registration

Parker Thayer appeared on the Ruthless podcast to discuss Everybody Votes, a $100 million voter registration campaign originally proposed by the Wyss Foundation and pushed by John Podesta. In the 2020 election cycle, Everybody Votes essentially functioned as a tax-exempt Democratic political action committee in running a voter registration campaign designed to target predominantly Democratic demographics in battleground states.

Among the campaign’s major donors are many of the usual “dark money” suspects: Hopewell Fund of the Arabella Advisors network, the Tides Foundation and two other Tides entities, ACRONYMN, and the League of Conservation Voters. And the connections only get more interesting.

Parker Thayer’s 18-minute segment begins at 47:10.
