Sen. Gregg Wanted to Kill Commerce Department

Sen. Judd Gregg, (R-New Hampshire), whom President Obama picked to be head of the U.S. Department of Commerce today, wanted to abolish the department in the 1990s.

It is among the least important positions in the president’s cabinet. Why Gregg wants to do it is anyone’s guess. Perhaps Gregg wants to hand out pork.
