Scott Walter Testifies on Ranked Choice Voting Before Wisconsin State Senate Committee
Supporters of ranked-choice voting (RCV) frame it as a nonpartisan issue, but the money behind the push for RCV tells a different story. The major donors behind the campaign are overwhelming left-wing. Katherine Gehl, a former bundler for the Obama presidential campaign, is probably the largest single donor to RCV. Left-wing megadonors Sam Bankman-Fried, the convicted cryptocurrency investor, and Pierre Omidyar, founder of eBay, are also major donors.
The two most prominent groups pushing RCV are Fair Vote and United America, which are both supported by left-wing megadonors, including George Soros, his son Jonathan, Pierre Omidyar, the Tides Foundation, and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund.
