Nutty Prosecutor’s Case Against Cheney Dismissed

An indictment laid by a grand jury in Texas that charged Vice President Dick Cheney with “profiteering from depriving human beings of their liberty” has been dismissed by a judge on the grounds of utter ridiculousness, as we predicted.

The indictment had been pursued by Juan Angel Guerra, the erratic Willacy County district attorney.
