Most Americans trust local news more than national news outlets.
Left-leaning billionaires are attempting to exploit that trust by secretly funding local news outlets in hopes of propagandizing Americans. You might call it politics via fake local news. And the localized propaganda won’t end anytime soon because millions of dollars are being pledged to revitalize liberal leaning news outlets. The funding is coming from the nonprofit sector fed by left-leaning billionaires and Foundations.
Outlets like Michigan Advance, NC Newsline, Pennsylvania Capital Star, Maryland Matters, and Virginia Mercury are all funded by States Newsroom, a coalition of left-of-center, state-focused newsgathering groups originally created within Arabella Advisors’ the multi-billion-dollar “dark money” network. Then there’s the Courier Newsroom, a network of political committees and advocacy nonprofits created by Democratic operative Tara McGowan, and launched with the help of Big Tech billionaire Laurene Powell Jobs.
