BLM Aftermath: Washington, DC
The Myth Behind the Movement

In our final chapter, BLM: Washington, DC—The Myth Behind the Movement, we examine the protests in DC and the dawning realization that the aftermath of George Floyd’s death was, at its heart, a missed opportunity. While the BLM national organization raised millions of dollars, the local chapters—and other community organizations already working on similar community efforts—saw little to none of the money raised. Instead, BLM engaged in fraud, misdirection, and political activism rather than addressing societal problems. It ultimately led to their reputational demise and extreme discord and damage in the nation’s capital.

BLM Aftermath, a video series sponsored by Capital Research Center, visits American cities that grappled with the 2020 protests and are now dealing with what was left in their wake once the clamor subsided. Black Lives Matter, Inc: Minneapolis Shakedown, the first installment featured Minneapolis, Minnesota, and the neighborhood where George Floyd lived and was murdered.

BLM Aftermath is a project of the Capital Research Center produced by First Class Broadcasting.
