Will Google Boss Become Next Commerce Secretary?

President Obama is considering making outgoing Google CEO Eric Schmidt his next Secretary of Commerce, according to reports.

This can’t possibly be good. Google is somewhat left-leaning in its philanthropy and is a strong supporter of so-called “net neutrality” regulations that would turn the Internet into a bureaucratic nightmare.
