Ryan Mauro on Collapse of the Assad Regime in Syria

Ryan appeared on Fox & Friends Weekend to discuss the rebel/extremist groups that will likely take power in Syria after the collapse of the Assad regime. Of great concern is how this will play out for the Christian minority in Syria, who comprise about 10 percent of the population. They were somewhat protected under Assad, despite the horrific human rights violations under his regime. But things could easily get worse after his ouster, depending on who takes power.

The U.S. doesn’t really have the option of not getting involved because it is already involved with U.S. military forces currently in Syria. Other countries, including Russia and Turkey are heavily involve in Syria.
