Hillary Picks Kyoto Kool Aid Drinker as Climate Envoy

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton named Todd Stern, a veteran of Bill Clinton’s White House, to be her special envoy on climate change issues, the Politico reports.

A lawyer, Stern is a senior fellow at the lefty action tank, the Center for American Progress. John Gizzi profiled the Center for American Progress for us in the May 2007 edition of Organization Trends.

Stern has vast experience in selling out the United States in treaty discussions. He was chief U.S. negotiator at the talks that led to the economy-destroying Kyoto Protocol.
