Government Might Become Deadbeats’ Landlord

The Obama administration is considering “a plan that would let borrowers who have fallen behind on their mortgage payments avoid eviction by renting their homes instead,” Reuters reports.

Details are sketchy at this point, but it sounds like Uncle Sam would own the homes thus making the government the landlord. This is not a good idea.
