Gerrymandering occurs when political districts get drawn to intentionally benefit a particular party or group. But has gerrymandering corrupted politics and tilted elections towards the Republican Party? In reality, drawing the borders for congressional districts is inherently political, and both major political parties use it to benefit themselves.
