CRC is at CPAC 2019!

The Capital Research Center, America’s investigative think tank, is gearing up for our spot in the biggest conservative conference of the year. CPAC 2019 will be held from February 28th to March 2nd at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland.

Be sure to get your tickets here to the most extraordinary meeting of conservatives focused on “What Makes America Great.”

We’re focusing our presence at the conference this year on our feature film No Safe Spaces, which will release in theaters later in 2019. We’re also thrilled to have CRC President Scott Walter on the mainstage, moderating a discussion between Kellyanne Conway and the U.S. Surgeon General Jerome Adams about ways to approach the opioid crisis. Learn more about everything CRC is doing at CPAC below.

Friday March 1st, 9am – General Session – Potomac Ballroom
A Conversation with Kellyanne Conway and Jerome Adams on the Opioid Crisis

CRC’s Scott Walter interviews Dr. Jerome Adams, the U.S. Surgeon General, and Kellyanne Conway, counselor to the president, on the opioid crisis. As overdose deaths have risen drastically over the last two decades, dealing with this tragedy is more important than ever.

Friday March 1st, 1pm – Sponsored Event – Chesapeake EF
Screening of the feature film No Safe Spaces plus Q&A

Join us for a pre-release screening of No Safe Spaces, the feature film starring Adam Carolla and Dennis Prager, and a project of the Capital Research Center’s Dangerous Documentaries division. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the film’s producer Mark Joseph.

No Safe Spaces exposes the safe space culture that is undermining American universities, the sad state of free speech, the unwillingness of students to be challenged by new ideas, and “the grievance culture” that is undermining the intellectual foundations of American higher education.

Carolla—a well-known stand-up comedian, podcaster, and radio personality—and Prager—a syndicated radio talk show host who has been on the air for more than four decades—travel to college campuses across the country interviewing students, professors, and commentators from both sides of the political spectrum, including Jordan Peterson, Alan Dershowitz, Dave Rubin, Cornell West, Greg Lukianoff, Van Jones, Everett Piper, Shelby Steele, and many more.

No Safe Spaces is directed by Justin Folk and produced by Mark Joseph. Scott Walter and Joseph (Jake) Klein of the Capital Research Center are executive producers.

Saturday March 2nd, 12:50pm – General Session – Potomac Ballroom
Dennis Prager: The Left Poisons Everything It Touches

Dennis Prager, star of No Safe Spaces, addresses the CPAC mainstage on behalf of PragerU to discuss a variety of topics including the film.

And don’t forget to drop by CRC’s CPAC booth to talk to us directly about No Safe Spaces or any of our other projects.
