ACORN Got $200,000 in Justice Department Funds


The U.S. Department of Justice’s inspector general says ACORN and its affiliates took in $200,000 in Justice Department grants from 2002 through this year, The Hill reports.

“No DOJ grants went directly to ACORN, but a handful of grants were awarded either to ACORN affiliates or to other organizations that sub-contracted projects to ACORN,” says the article.
