The D.C. Civil Rights (i.e. Gun Rights) Case

Second Amendment enthusiasts have created a website with regular updates on District of Columbia v. Heller, the upcoming Supreme Court case that could put gun prohibitionists out of business forever. Imagine that: a right spelled out in the Bill of Rights actually recognized as a constitutionally protected right. Wow. The site is DCGunCase.com. The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear oral arguments in the case on March 18.

In related news, George Mason University is hosting a panel discussion on the case featuring Bob McNamara, the attorney who authored the Institute for Justice’s brief to the high court on the case, and Larry Pratt, executive director of the Gun Owners of America.

The event will take place on February 27, from 12:00 – 1:15, in Arlington, Virginia, at the George Mason Law Building, Hazel Hall in Room 121.
