Blagojevich of Senate-Seat-for-Sale Scandal Wanted to Take Over Change to Win

Illinois’s corrupt Democratic governor, Rod Blagojevich, reportedly wanted to muscle out Change to Win chairman Anna Burger, who is also secretary-treasurer of Service Employees International Union (SEIU). (Sam Stein of the Huffington Post has a good article on the topic.)

SEIU is an institutional member of George Soros’s liberal billionaires’ club, the Democracy Alliance, and Burger is vice chairman of the Democracy Alliance.

Blagojevich, of course, has been an ally of President-elect Barack Obama but evidently they are not close, or even friendly, an observation bolstered by the expletives the governor has hurled at Obama according to the new indictment. (PDF file)
