Featured Interview: Scott Walter in the Washington Times

Capital Research Center president Scott Walter interviewed in the Washington Times

Capital Research Center president Scott Walter was cited in the Washington Times on January 21 on athlete Colin Kaepernick’s decision to fund the far-left group Advancement Project, which describes itself as a “multi-racial civil rights organization.” CRC has described the organization as a “key left-wing agitation group that organizes opposition to voter identification laws.”

“They are the leading opponents of voter integrity,” said Scott Walter, president of the Capital Research Center (CRC).

The billionaire Soros has made grants to thousands of individuals and organizations through his Open Society Foundations, but Advancement Project ranked in the top 25 from 2009-14, along with Planned Parenthood, the ACLU and the Center for American Progress, according to the CRC.

Together with comedian Jesse Williams, Kaepernick has funded Advancement Project to the tune of $20,000, money which will presumably go towards supporting the group’s radical “social justice” agenda.
