ACORN Porkulus Bill Passes House

The House passed the disgusting, pork-laden $825 billion-plus so-called stimulus bill and ACORN bailout by a closer than expected margin of 244 to 188. No Republicans voted for it.

The monstrosity now heads to the Senate.

Now that the bill has passed one major hurdle, congressional leaders are now in transit to the White House for that staple of D.C. politics, the open bar reception. Lawmakers and President Obama can toast their success in ensuring that a new Great Depression happens on their watch.
