Hillary Clinton is no longer “presumptive”

Hillary Clinton

PHILADELPHIA — The South Dakota delegation put Hillary Clinton over the top at 6:38 p.m. as Baltimore mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake presided over the roll call at the Democratic National Convention.

This makes the former secretary of state/senator/first lady officially the first female to receive a major party’s nomination for the presidency.

Is it a big deal? Only if you’re a diversity cultist. Women have broken through the so-called glass ceiling in more of less every field of endeavor in America, including politics.

It is tedious and anticlimactic.
