Even on Election Day with mere hours to go before the polls close, MoveOn.org is pushing its many members to act. 

They’re hardcore.

I received this email from MoveOn.org almost three hours ago (emphases in original):

Can you head over to an Obama phone bank right now?

The Obama campaign’s plan for victory relies on a record turnout by newly registered voters. As of right now, many of them still haven’t voted, and the campaign needs more volunteers to get out the vote.

We’re too close to victory to leave this to chance. We’re asking everyone in Washington: Please drop whatever you’re doing and go to the nearest Obama phone bank if you can. We’ve come too far to slow down now. Can you help out this afternoon?
